Live in harmony with directions, and directions will harmonize your business.
Vaastu is the art and science of aligning your commercial space with the surrounding energies, using simple principles that connect your workplace to natural forces for a positive and productive aura.
As you may remember, in childhood we were all advised to stay away from bad company, because our parents knew that it would also make us bad. We all heard the rotten apple story as well. Both examples clearly show that the environment matters a lot in our lives. In the Bhagvat Geeta too, it is stated that “Our environment matters a lot; choose it wisely.”
Similarly, your office, shop, clinic, showroom, or any commercial space is your professional environment where you and your team spend the major part of the day. The energies of this environment have a direct effect on your business growth, decisions, client dealings, and team performance. Vaastu consists of five elements (Water, Fire, Earth, Air, and Sky) and mainly four directions (North, East, South, and West). Synchronizing these elements with the directions is Vaastu (in simple terms). Each direction (major: North, East, South, West; and sub-directions: North-East, South-East, South-West, and North-West) has its own element, lord, and planet. Aligning each area of the premises with Vaastu principles gives better results, because every corner matters – whether it is the main entrance, reception, owner’s cabin, staff workstations, conference room, accounts and finance section, pantry, server room, filing and records area, store and inventory, toilets, staircase, lift, water bodies, septic tank, overhead water tank, signage zone, cash/billing counter, or display area. Thoughtful implementation of Vaastu principles in commercial spaces helps improve business stability, sales, profitability, brand image, harmony among partners and staff, and even the quality of decision-making.
Application of Vaastu in commercial premises depends on various factors such as the type of property (office space, retail shop, showroom, clinic, coaching centre, warehouse, hospital, hotel, restaurant, cafe, etc.), location and surroundings (corridor, open area, corner plot, dead-end, T-point, road crossing, property facing), the number of the property (numerologically), and the shape of the property. When Vaastu Shastra was written ages ago, the style of working and business structures were completely different; many things were naturally aligned with nature. In the modern era, with high?rise buildings, compact offices, malls, and changing business demands, the scenarios have significantly changed. Therefore, applying all traditional Vaastu principles completely in any commercial premises is almost impossible. Yet, there are effective modern techniques, solutions, and remedies that work as practical alternatives to typical Vaastu rules. I always prefer physical visits over only online sessions, and I focus on structural/positional solutions rather than mere symbolic remedies wherever possible. I have implemented Vaastu principles in many of my clients’ commercial premises and have consistently witnessed the power of this science in bringing positive shifts in revenue, team coordination, and overall business growth.
As per my experience, it is highly recommended to go for Vaastu analysis when you are planning to buy or rent a commercial property, set up a new office or outlet, restructure or renovate your existing setup, or if you are experiencing continuous struggles in business growth, cash flow, client retention, staff issues, or legal/operational hurdles for at least one year.
